By ordering a product with Hoover Spares, you accept the content of these Terms & Conditions. Hoover Spares reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time and it is your responsibilty to check regularly before ordering.

This does not affect your statutory rights.



Before You Order



Product Specifications and Suitability

Hoover Spares shall not be held responsible for the accuracy of any advice given regarding the suitability or otherwise of any part/s required for the repair of an appliance. Published product details, specifications and suitability information is the best available at the time, usually provided by the product's manufacturer.

Manufacturer's names are used for reference only. Use of these names does not always imply that the product/s are actually made by them.

Technical Items

Where a manufacturer offers a guarantee on a product, this may be conditional on repairs being performed by a qualified electrician. Please ensure that you have read your product's manual and warranty conditions before attempting to install a part or otherwise repair your appliance.
Hoover Spares can not be held responsible if the appliance is damaged or your warranty is voided.

Availability / Estimated Delivery Times

We do our best to ensure availability of all our products and endeavour to supply all parts within the quoted time frame (usually 3-5 days). If there is a delay or problem and we are not able to supply the product to you within the quoted time frame we will inform you of this and the product will be despatched as soon as it is available. If you have ordered multiple parts then all available parts will be despatched immediately and the delayed part will be sent under seperate cover. You will not be charged for this seperate delivery.

Items that are advertised as Special Order are non stock items that need to be ordered specially from the manufacturer. These items will usually be despatched within 7-10 days but can take up to 28 days, or longer for some manufacturers/parts, to become available.
We will keep you informed of your order progress and estimated delivery date.

Occasionally we find ourselves having to cancel and withdraw an item because it is obsolete, discontinued or otherwise unavailable. In these circumstances we will inform you immediately and offer you an alternative if one is available.

If a delay has occured and you are unable to wait any items that have not yet been despatched can be cancelled without penalty by contacting our customer services department.

Payment


Payment over the Internet can be made by Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, Switch or Solo cards.

Alternatively, you can pay by cheque or postal order. Please note that if you choose to pay by cheque, your order will not be dispatched until the cheque has been cleared by your bank. If you choose to pay by postal order, your order will be dispatched upon receipt of payment.

All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and include Value Added Tax (VAT) at UK rates. It may be necessary to adjust the prices in the event of an increase in VAT rates, or as a result of an international price increase. Customers are entitled to a full refund if this is not acceptable.

Due to the nature of the clearing system, your credit card payment WILL be taken at the point of ordering. If a problem in supply should occur we will, of course, be happy to make a refund as appropriate.

Charges will appear on your bank statement as "ESPARES LTD"

Delivery



Most items will be delivered using Royal Mail but some expensive, bulky and/or fragile products will be shipped via special delivery or private courier.

If you haven't received your items within 10 working days of the date of despatch, they can be declared "lost in transit" and we will arrange a replacement order.

At this time Hoover Spares only delivers to UK addresses.

Cancellations & Returns



Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled at any time before they are despatched for a full refund. If the item has already been despatched then please see below for our returns policy.

Returns

Returns will only be accepted for credit or refund with a RETURNS AUTHORISATION NUMBER, and may be subject to a 25% re-stocking charge. The Customer will be responsible for the cost of returning items, unless agreed otherwise beforehand. Any item returned to us without this reference will be considered unsolicited mail, and destroyed.

  • Goods returned as unwanted must be returned to us in perfect condition, with all applicable packaging intact.
  • If we agree to accept an item back, it must be sent to us by the most economical method possible. We will not refund any postage costs, unless agreed in writing beforehand.
  • If you wish to return an item you must request a RETURNS AUTHORISATION NUMBER within 7 days of receipt of goods by contacting our customer services department.
  • Once a RETURNS AUTHORISATION NUMBER is issued it is valid for 14 days. If we do not receive the goods within this period the authorisation will be cancelled and you will need to contact customer services to request another.
  • A restocking fee of 25% may be applicable, if this is the case you will be informed when your returns authorisation is issued.

Consider the Environment


Hoover Spares is considerate of the environment and is pleased to comply with the EU Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Regulations 2006. There is a requirement on each member State under Article 2 of the Directive to minimise the disposal of WEEE as unsorted municipal waste and to achieve a high level of collection of WEEE for treatment, recovery and environmentally sound disposal.

Hoover Spares will take back on a new-for-old basis any old appliance from you. Spare parts are not covered by this and we are not able to take back spares. If you are purchasing a new appliance from us and wish to send us the old one please send it to:

You must return the item to us within 28 days of purchasing the new item. Payment of postage for the return of the item is your responsibility.
